The Poetry of Ann Margetson

Yesterday April first, a plot of land that had been purchased by David Brydges was dedicated to poetry and it will be known as Dr Doug Pollard park. He passed away s few months ago and owned the Highway Book Store he was instrumental in keeping literature alive in the north publishing many books. As poet Laureate I was present and the pebbled pathway will be named after me as poet Laureate because I wrote a poem by that name. There will be more trees planted to remember other local poets. The Voice a local paper will have a full report of the happening. The Real Estate agent was there and members of the Historical Society were there also. The weather was perfect.
